There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you, and if the book is true, it will find an audience that is meant to read it.

I joined the Student Law Review Committee as an Editor in 2018 at Howard College School of Law. I am a passionate, energetic, and hardworking person and I am always eager to contribute to the field of Legal knowledge and other spheres of public interest. Lebogang Moekena

Lebohang Mokoena, part of the public relations personnel. I am passionate about living, learning and growing, part of the reason I enjoy being with the review.I fail to put myself into words so here are two things about me: of all the words I know, 'everyday' is my favourite because it is a literal and figurative summation of my life philosophy. And yes, numerology is a thing.

Student law reviews have always played a pivotal role in sharpening the legal research and writing skills of the students. They have been a platform to provide vibrant and lively debates on contemporary social issues and legal developments. Many of us part of the Student Law Review see it as continuing with this important role! To many of us, it’s a platform to not only enhance our knowledge, but essentially to be a voice for the students intellectually-thirsty to tackle legal contradictions and its complexities. In the main, we see ourselves as being part of an important platform that shapes and challenges our perceived perspectives about society and legal thought.

Saiyuri Rubbinunan

Thomas Hobbes profoundly said that authority and wisdom both lend their cognisance to fundamentally revolutionising law.  My name is Saiyuri Rubbinunan, I am a Third year law student as well as one of the financial officers of the law review of the university of KwaZulu-Natal who is incumbent with managing the financial affairs of such organisation. Pertinent to James Hobbs quotation, my motivation to why I assigned myself to the law review society of KwaZulu-Natal is based on the genuine belief that wisdom is cultivated by experience and encounters. The law review society creates an idealistic platform that could essentially add legal texture to future lawyers, to this; I genuinely believe that members of the law review are gearing themselves towards becoming such lawyers.
