CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Law students are invited to submit abstracts of no more than 400 words of a paper that they intend to publish.
The abstracts may include - but are not limited to - the following:
- 
any aspect of legal theory and its application (both nationally and internationally);
 - 
recent developments in the law;
 - 
a critique of case law;
 - 
discussion of any interesting aspect of the law.
 
The Law Review accepts manuscripts of 3 types: Articles, Notes and Case notes.
- 
Articles provide a detailed, if not seminal, analysis of the topic under discussion and shall be no longer than 5000 words (approximately 15 pages).
 - 
Notes are shorter, more focused pieces and shall not exceed 4000 words.
 - 
Case notes critically analyse a particular case or compare and contrast two cases. A case note shall not exceed 3000 words.
 
The abstracts must be submitted by no later than 31 April 2014 to ukzn.studentlawreview@gmail.com.
